About the Brand

Our brand is the sum of what students, the community and other key audiences value about the College of Lake County. The branding process is about consistently and meaningfully communicating that value. Learn more about CLC’s brand.

Brand Strategy

We focus on the college brand, logo and visual identity standards to leverage and reinforce CLC’s substantial name recognition in the community. Therefore, sub-logos are not allowed for departments, campuses or college-sponsored programs or projects. The only exceptions are three externally focused sub-businesses: the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts, the Workforce and Professional Development Institute and the CLC Foundation.

Brand Visual Tools

Visual identity tools include authorized treatments of the logo and tagline, college seal and athletic mascot; page grids; PowerPoint template; typography specifications; photography guidelines; and simple publication templates. View visual tools (requires login).
