Southlake Campus Tour

The College of Lake County's Southlake Campus in Vernon Hills primarily serves communities in southwest and southeast Lake County, with its convenient location two miles south of Route 60 and just north of the intersection of Route 45 and Route 21.

The Southlake Campus recently tripled in size as a result of building construction completed in 2007.

Features of the new building include science laboratories, a library and learning center, computer labs, faculty and administrative offices and community meeting space including the signature architectural feature of a three-story, glass-roofed student lounge.

Southlake has the first green roof on a public structure in Lake County, making CLC a leader in green building technology.

Credit offerings at Southlake include both day and evening courses that can be applied toward an Associates degree. Southlake also offers career, workplace training and skills development, non-credit personal enrichment and English as a Second Language classes.

Southlake continues to increase its course offerings, allowing for a wider variety of day and evening classes, workshops and seminars.

Support services such as registration, advisement, learning assistance, basic skills testing and academic and career counseling are also available.

Learning creates new pathways, step-by-step, for you personally and professionally whether you are in need of ongoing continuing education, vocational training, transfer credits, business development or meeting space. Take advantage of all that CLC's Southlake Campus has to offer!
