weTRaIN, Illinois Community College’s Training Resource and Information Network, is the largest provider of workforce development training in Illinois. Its membership includes 39 community college districts and 48 community college training centers, which serve nearly 3,000 companies each year.
“As a part of the weTRaIN network, we are able to expand our topics and course offerings by tapping into the resources of the colleges within the network,” said Mitch Bienvenue, Client Solutions interim director.
“If a client has multiple sites, Lake County and Springfield for example, we are able to deliver consistent, high-quality, instructor-led training at each site using local experts through weTRaIN. The college’s membership in weTRaIN also enhances grant funding options that can stretch clients’ training dollars,” Bienvenue said.
