Southlake Campus: The Southlake Campus in Vernon Hills primarily serves communities in southwest and southeast Lake County, offering a variety of credit and non-credit instructional programs along with many student services to support learning.

The Southlake facility is a 47,000-square-foot, three-story building with four computer labs, a science lab, a science classroom, a library, a learning assistance center, a bookstore, full-time faculty offices and a three story glass enclosed student lounge.

Two "green" roof areas—the first on a public structure in Lake County—are also among the building’s features. With more available classroom space, the college has increased its course offerings at Southlake, allowing students to select from a wider variety of day and evening classes, lab sciences, social sciences and humanities.

Credit programs: Southlake primarily offers courses that can be applied to one of the college's transfer degree options. (These are courses that transfer to a four-year college or university toward a bachelor's degree.)

Non-credit programs: Southlake offers several non-credit options, including English as a Second Language courses for new immigrants, professional development programs such as massage therapy and non-credit courses for personal enrichment and career development. Other options are the Discovery and Quest programs for adults 55 and older and contract training for employers provided through the college's Workforce and Professional Development Institute.

Student services: Registration, advisement, basic skills testing and academic and career counseling are all available at Southlake. Registration is available on a walk-in basis during business hours but appointments should be made for other services by calling (847) 543-6501.
