New students coming to the College of Lake County must:
- fill out a Student Information Form online or in person* to obtain a CLC Student ID
- take a placement test

Schedule a Placement Test
After obtaining the CLC Student ID Number, please call (847) 543-2445 or request a testing appointment online:
New students also have the option of coming directly to Grayslake Campus, Lakeshore Campus or the Southlake Educational Center to apply and make an appointment for the placement test.
Placement tests are valid for 120 days only!
