On February 5, the College of Lake County cancelled the registration of students who had not paid their tuition and fees or been awarded financial aid or set up a payment plan. You can determine if you are such a student by checking your enrollment status through CLC's Self Service option as soon as possible.
If you were dropped from classes, and wish to be reinstated as a student, you must complete the following procedure by Tuesday, February 19, 2008:
1) Print off a copy of the Enrollment Reinstatement form (PDF). Enter the class-related information requested on the form. Copies of the form are also available in the Cashier's Office and in the Admissions and Records Office on the Grayslake campus.
2) Bring the "Enrollment Reinstatement" form to the Cashier's Office and make arrangements to pay for your classes. Payment options include:
- Pay in full by cash or check.
- Pay by credit card online.
- Enroll in the FACTS tuition management plan online.
- Arrange a special payment plan if extenuating circumstances prevent you from using the FACTS payment plan. Contact the Cashier's Office to make arrangements.
- Receive a financial aid award
Note: Submitting a financial aid application is not sufficient to complete this step; you must have received notification of a financial aid award that will cover the cost of your classes. If you have not received notification of a financial aid award, or that award does not cover the full cost of your classes, you must make other arrangements to pay.
3) Bring the "Enrollment Reinstatement" form to the Office of Admissions and Records.
This office will re-instate your enrollment.
Please note that if you wish to be enrolled in classes, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you follow the procedure outlined above. If you continue going to class without being officially reinstated by February 19 you will not be reinstated at a later date.
Thank you for enrolling at the College of Lake County. We hope you will take the steps to remain registered for classes.
