Assessment of General Education Project
The purpose of this project is to establish and carry out assessment of general education learning outcomes at CLC.
Primary Results
- General education web resource implemented for both faculty and students. The site assists with teaching and learning of the college’s General Education Learning Outcomes.
- Results of “Writing Artifacts” project distributed along with shared results/recommendations from faculty on student writing strengths and areas for improvement.
- Results of CAAP “scientific reasoning” tests distributed for analysis.
- Recommendation developed to expand the college’s General Education Learning Outcomes by adding “reading” and “information technology.”
