Illinois is currently one of only 19 states that allow in-state tuition rates for undocumented students.

At CLC, your tuition rate is determined by where you live and how long you have lived there. If you are an undocumented student and live within the college district for 30 days prior to the start of your first term of enrollment, you will be charged the in-district tuition rate. You will not be charged a higher rate simply for being undocumented.

Undocumented students in Illinois may also qualify to participate in the state treasurer’s college savings and pre-paid tuition programs such as College Illinois!, Bright Start and Bright Directions.
