Student Organizations

When you get involved in student activities you’ll acquire the resume-building skills in teamwork and leadership that employers and transfer colleges are looking for. In addition to clubs, you’ll find many opportunities through the Student Government Association (Student Senate), Program Board (which plans events on campus), The Chronicle (student newspaper), Lancer Radio, Emerging Leaders Program and Phi Theta Kappa (honors society).  See our list of active Clubs and Organizations.

Student Government Association (SGA)

Want to make a big difference at CLC and represent the interests of your fellow students? Get involved in SGA as a student senator. You’ll have the opportunity to share your ideas, concerns and feedback with other organizations, offices and departments at the college. To learn more , contact or call (847) 543-2295. To apply for a senator position, visit the SGA webpage.

Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)

Do you want to be a leader? Consider the Emerging Leaders Program, which encourages high-achieving students to become involved in extracurricular activities that contribute to their personal and intellectual growth. The program includes workshops and special events.
