ALL students must create a new login and activate their new stu.clcillinois.edu email.

CLC has a new student email address (stu.clcillinois.edu). That means all students-both new and continuing-must activate their new stu.clcillinois.edu email account to use student email.

Why you need a CLC email account

CLC communicates important information to students through the student email, and it is your responsibility to set up your stu.clcillinois.edu account.
Blackboard users are required to have an email account. You cannot use Blackboard without an email account.

1. Create myLogin

Note: Once you have created myLogin, you do not need to do it again.

2. Activate Email

3. Use Student Email

Your "Windows Live ID" is the myLogin username followed by @stu.clcillinois.edu. Example: johnsmith@stu.clcillinois.edu

Note: Only change your password using the Manage Login link. Do not change your password inside your email account.

Use old Lancermail Email

You can also access your old Lancermail email account using Windows Live. In this case, your Windows Live ID is your first initial, first four digits of your last name, two digits of your birth month and last two digits of your student ID.

Example: A student named John Smith, born in July with a student ID of 1234567 would have the following Windows Live ID: jsmith0767@lancermail.clcillinois.edu.
