CLC Singers

Consisting of 16-20 singers, the CLC Singers is one of CLC's three vocal ensembles and is open to students by audition only. Rehearsals are held one evening each week for 80 minutes under the direction of Dr. Charles Clency. The repertoire includes madrigals, vocal jazz, and ballads. The CLC Singers often perform for high school students and community and civic events. Current voice study is desirable for participation, but not required. Choir of Lake County

The Choir of Lake County, also conducted by Dr. Charles Clency is open to CLC students and community members without audition. 40-50 singers participate in the choir, rehearsing one night each week for 150 minutes. The CLC Singers and the Choir of Lake County ensembles perform together in three concerts each year. For more information, contact Dr. Charles Clency.

College of Lake County Gospel Choir

The College of Lake County Giospel Choir, has historically served as an arm of the Lakeshore campus in Waukegan. In 2005-2006, Dr. Clency assumed the guidance and musical tutelage of this group, bringing to bear the resources and facilities of the Grayslake Campus. Enrollment is open to 60 singers without audition, and rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 8:00 to 9:50. In addition to several appearances at community area churches and other local events, the CLC Gospel Choir performs two concerts each year. For more information, contact Dr. Charles Clency.
