Explore the wonderful world of lasers and photonics as you engage in hands-on activities with state-of-the-art optical and laser equipment. Learn the principles of generating and harnessing light through using lasers, lenses, mirrors, fiber optics, digital microscopes and many other instruments. Discover the nature of light, how your eyes see colors, the importance of laser safety and how lasers are used in communications and many other applications. Make your own laser light show! Activities will be age-appropriate.
