Services Provided by the Counseling Center
- Career Counseling and Planning—Work with a counselor, take career assessments, and start the development of a career plan.
- Transfer Planning—These days the process of transferring to some schools can require a lot of detailed work. Start early! Visit the Transfer Information Web site.
- Personal concerns—Are stress, test anxiety, family pressures or other factors interfering with your success?
Visit the Counseling Center (C110) if any of the following apply to you:
- You are new to CLC. (You should attend a new-student orientation or an advisement meeting for new students.)
- You have not attended CLC in two years or longer.
- You have not chosen a program of study (major).
- You do not meet math and language proficiencies.
- You are enrolled in developmental/pre-college courses.
- You were enrolled in developmental/pre-college courses the last time you attended CLC.
- You are on academic caution or restriction.
Advising for Students in an Academic Program
Contact the appropriate academic division, if all of the following apply to you:
- You are enrolled at CLC or attended CLC within the last two years.
- You meet math and language proficiencies.
- You are or were enrolled in college credit courses.
- You have selected a program of study (major).
