Navigation for Student Checklist - New Student Orientation:

Orientation sessions provide new students with more information about the college's programs and policies. These sessions are for students who have an application for admission on file and have met the admission requirements.

New Student Orientation Advisement Days

Recent high school graduates who plan to earn an associate degree or certificate or transfer to a four-year college or university must receive academic advising through the New Student Orientation program before registering for classes. Attending one of the sessions is a convenient way to learn about the college and prepare for your first semester at CLC.

Advisement Information Meetings (AIM)

AIMs are intended primarily for students who have graduated from high school more than two years ago and/or are course takers, but any student is welcome. While these sessions are optional, they provide information on the college's academic programs and policies and are approximately one hour in length. For more information, visit the Returning Adults Web page or view the A.I.M. Workbook (PDF).
