Earth Science (ESC) is a new program beginning the Fall 2008 semester. Earth Science includes courses that were formally under Geology (GEO) and Astronomy (AST) in addition to a new Meteorology course.

This course is for students who want a deeper understanding of the atmospheric processes behind weather phenomena such as winter storms, thunderstorms, tornadoes and hurricanes.
Associate Degree Transfer Info
Refer to the CLC Catalog (select Associate Degree Transfer Program) for courses that are recommended for students who intend to complete the A.S. degree at the CLC and transfer to a four-year college or university. All students must complete the general education requirements listed in the CLC catalog in order to earn the A.A. or A.S. degree. Students should become familiar with the requirements of the institution to which they plan to transfer. Students should choose electives only after consulting with an advisor. All course prerequisites must be met.
