Program of Study: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

This program provides instruction in air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration. Introductory courses in electricity, electric motors, and theory of refrigeration are included. Adv anced work in the commerical area includes work on reach-in and walk-in units found in stores, dairies, and markets. Other areas of study include uses of air conditioning, temperature and humidity control, air circulation, cleaning, installation, and tro ubleshooting of equipment. Students are required to provide their own basic tools.
