Navigation for Information Technology Services:


Information Technology Services plans, develops and maintains the college’s information technology (IT) infrastructure and provides leadership in IT initiatives to support the goals and services of the college. The department consists of four groups: Application Services, Desktop Services/Help Desk, Network Services and Web Services.

Services for Students

ITS provides the following services to students: Student E-mail, Blackboard, LancerNet Wireless Access and open computer labs located in the Grayslake Campus Library and at the Lakeshore and Southlake campuses. For assistance with e-mail or Blackboard, please check the links below or contact the Help Desk.

LancerNet Wi-Fi Hot Spot Locations *

  • Grayslake Campus: Anderson Court (A-wing), Brandel Court (B-wing), LRC 1st and 2nd floor Atrium, Technology Building (T), and Student Lounge (lower level C-wing near Lancer’s)
  • Lakeshore Campus
  • Southlake Campus

*Note: When using wireless access points, virus and security protection are the responsibility of the patron and ITS staff is not able to assist patrons with their laptop, network card or configuration. If you are using Windows XP or Vista, your computer will automatically detect the SSID Lancernet.
