The Externship course is an important component of the Medical Assisting program. This course is an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the academic (didactic) courses to actual health care practices.
Health Care Site
The health care facilities which serve as affiliation sites provide an essential service to our program and our profession. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner during their affiliation experiences. Absences from the health care site are to be avoided, as the learning experiences provided at the sites are not available in other education settings.
Externship Course
The externship course MOA 212 is offered during the Spring semester.
