u.select Illinois
The College of Lake County is participating in a new computer system in Illinois which, when fully operational, will provide information about many Illinois universities and colleges' academic programs and requirements, course equivalencies, planning guides for transfer between participating institutions, and student service links. Currently EIU, ISU, NIU, UIC, UIS, and UIUC are fully utilizing u.select Illinois, while various other institutions are participating on some level.
As a u.select Illinois guest, anyone can access Course Descriptions, Academic Programs, and the Course Equivalency Guide. If you would like to store courses and run a planning guide, you must be a member. Registration is free.
To Use u.select Illinois go to:

- Select IL
- Select Members
- If you do not yet have an account, select "Get Your Own u.select Illinois Account Now"
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the registration form
- Remember your User ID and password
