Intercollegiate athletics and intramural recreation are an important part of student life at the College of Lake County. CLC teams compete in 12 intercollegiate sports. Women's sports include basketball, cross-country, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross-country, golf, soccer, and tennis. CLC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and the Skyway Community College Conference. The college is noted for its excellence and integrity in athletics. Athletic scholarships are available. The CLC intramural and recreational programs provide a variety of activities for students, faculty and staff.
