The Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is grant-funded to provide free expert advice to grow and expand Lake County small businesses. Our services include:

- Assistance in developing business plans
- Support in securing loans
- Referrals to small business service providers
- Access to our small business resource library
- Interactive workshops
- Aid in market research
- Identify strategic partners

The Illinois Small Business Development Center is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), in partnership with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and the College of Lake County. All SBA programs are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis.
