Student Development

The Vice President for Student Development has overall responsibility for all programs and services related to the departments listed below.  The Vice President’s Office is also a student’s point of contact for information about their rights and responsibilities as a CLC student and for help in resolving any concerns about discipline problems, discrimination harassment on campus or other complaints about Student Development departments.  The Vice President’s Office ensures that students are treated fairly and afforded due process, that grievances are addressed and that student discipline procedures are applied consistently with college policies.

The Vice President for Student Development is responsible for administering the college’s Academic Standards Policy.  This policy has been adopted to help students stay on track academically and it provides a system for alerting students when their academic progress is less than satisfactory so they can help to improve their performance.

The Vice President of Student Development also works closely with the Vice Presidents of Administrative Affairs and Educational Affairs to integrate fully and to ensure all objectives of learning, development of educational programs and curricula and student support services.
