The Educational Affairs office is responsible for interpreting policies and procedures for the academic areas of the college. The office is also responsible for learning resources, adult and community education, business and industry training, and use of onsite and extension site facilities. Another area of concentration is the submission and maintenance of curriculum materials with the ICCB (Illinois Community College Board). Working with the academic divisions and Public Relations, Educational Affairs oversees the publishing of both the class schedule and the course catalog. Coordinating course offerings and services at Lakeshore Campus, Southlake Educational Center, and extension sites is another focus for Educational Affairs.
The Vice President for Educational Affairs works closely with the Vice Presidents of Administrative Affairs and Student Development to ensure coherence and quality of college educational programs and services.
