This field study trip is taught on location in the beautiful Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area, located in the mountainous Western tip of Virginia. This trip will involve day hiking along the Appalachian Trail and returning to our campsite each night.


Cumberland Gap is a pass through the Cumberland Mountains region of the Appalachian Mountains, famous in American history for its role as the chief passageway through the central Appalachians.
