Meet the Finalists

Keith Cornille, Ed.D.

Dr. Cornille is currently Executive Vice President/Chief Student Services Officer at Madison Area Technical College (Madison, Wis.). At Madison College, he also served as Dean for the School of Academic Advancement. Prior to that, Dr. Cornille served in various student services positions at Indiana University-Southeast (New Albany, Ind.), College of DuPage (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), and Richard J. Daley College in Chicago. He earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College in Madison, a master’s in Education Administration from Northeastern Illinois University, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Eastern Illinois University and earned an Associate of Arts from the College of DuPage. Lori Suddick, Ed.D.

Dr. Suddick has 18 years of experience working in two-year college leadership and faculty roles. Since 2009, she has served as the Vice President of Learning and Chief Academic Officer for Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (Green Bay, Wis.), a designated Leader College of Achieving the Dream. She has presented at the national and state level on multiple topics including student success, integrated advising, systemic engagement of faculty, K12 partnerships, flexible adult learning, and alignment of credentials with the labor market needs. Dr. Suddick was one of 40 exceptional leaders selected to complete an Ed.D. from University of Wisconsin Stout in career and technical education. J. Michael Thomson, Ph.D.

Dr. Thomson currently serves as the Eastern Campus President of Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) in northeast Ohio and Chief Executive Officer of the Eastern Campus in Highland Hills, Ohio. Dr. Thomson also leads the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Humanities Center at the Eastern Campus and the Hospitality Management Center of Excellence at the Eastern Campus. Dr. Thomson began his Tri-C career in 2005 as the Western Campus Dean of Academic Affairs. In 2011, he became the inaugural president of the Westshore Campus, a STEM-focused campus. Dr. Thomson moved to the Eastern Campus presidency in October, 2013. Dr. Thomson served at Northern Kentucky University from 1986-2005 as an Associate Professor in political science, Director of the Master of Public Administration program, director of the University’s academic technology services, faculty senate president, faculty regent and department chair. Previous assignments included faculty and administrative roles at the University of Cincinnati and Ouachita Baptist University. Dr. Thomson holds master’s and doctoral degrees in political science from the University of Kentucky, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University. Read Dr. Thomson's full bio.

Cliff Davis, M.A.

Davis has served as an administrator at the Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) System (Springfield, Mo.) since 2004. He is currently the President of the OTC Table Rock Campus and System Vice Chancellor. Previously, Davis served as Vice Chancellor for Advancement, Student Affairs and Strategic Planning, while also serving as Executive Director of the OTC Foundation. Prior to joining OTC, Davis served as Assistant to the President/Director of Governmental Relations and Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs at Missouri State University (Springfield, Mo.). He has taught undergraduate classes in communication and marketing at both Missouri State and Drury University and masters and doctoral-level courses in higher education administration for Lindenwood University. Davis graduated from Missouri State University with a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Communication. He is nearing completion of a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Lindenwood University. Read Davis' full bio.

Amit B. Singh, Ph.D.

Dr. Singh has been Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs at Clark State Community College (Springfield, Ohio) since March 2014. Prior to joining Clark State, he was the Dean of Academic Affairs/Chief Academic Officer at the largest campus of Cuyahoga Community College in Parma, Ohio. He also served as the Dean of the Business and Computer Science division at Montgomery County Community College in Pennsylvania. He previously served as the Assistant Dean of the Business and Social Science division and as a Professor of Business, Economics, and Finance at Darton College in Albany, Ga. Prior to academia, he worked as an investment analyst at a brokerage firm and as a senior financial analyst at a corporate governance consulting firm in Atlanta. Dr. Singh holds four graduate degrees: M.A. in economics, M.B.A. and M.S. in Finance and Ph.D. in Economics. Read Dr. Singh's full bio.
