CLC Alumni Information

Welcome Alumni and Friends!

As part of the College of Lake County Foundation's vision to change students' lives through education, the Foundation directs alumni relations initiatives with the goal of maintaining a lifelong connection between students and the college while promoting the excellence of our graduates. We achieve these goals by promoting the college's many resources and programs, building relationships with individuals and creating partnerships with organizations, recognizing local employers who are hiring CLC graduates, and serving as a link between the alumni, the college, and the Lake County community at large.

The CLC Foundation often features alumni as keynote event speakers, nominees for distinguished awards, program mentors, and in marketing and promotional material for the college and Foundation.

Ways to Connect

  • Share your CLC success story! We want to hear about your life after CLC: education, career, awards and any other success you'd like to share. Let us know if you’re interested in speaking at a CLC Foundation event or having your story featured on our website.
  • All CLC alumni receive the free benefit of discount to local and national businesses -- contact the Alumni Relations Office to receive the registration code and start saving money today.
  • Connect the Foundation with your employer. Do you or does your employer hire CLC graduates? We’d love to recognize businesses who hire CLC educated students in the local workforce.
  • Attend or support a CLC Foundation fundraising event such as the Scholarship Gala or Golf Classic. View upcoming Foundation events. To learn about how the CLC Foundation provides opportunity and hope for CLC students, read more about our mission and impact.
  • Join the Alumni Association and connect with fellow alumni. Membership in the Alumni Association provides discounts on products, services, use of the CLC gym, and additional benefits.

Alumni Story

Paul V. Diamond, President and Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Residential Mortgage Corporation, CLC’s 2017 ICCTA Distinguished Alumnus

“During my tenure at CLC, I was elected President of the Student Government Association, where I learned maturity, execution, leadership and a respect for academic excellence. After college, I entered the banking and mortgage field, working my way up to executive leadership positions at a fortune 500 home building company and finally as President, CEO and founder of an independent corporation. I consider College of Lake County my first step on my pathway to success. I am thankful for my time at CLC and fully support the community college system.”
