Hours of Operation

During the time classes are in session:

  • Monday - Thursday
    8 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday
    8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday
    9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During the time classes are not in session:

  • Monday - Friday
    8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Holidays Observed

The Division of Adult Basic Education, GED & ESL provides educational opportunities to adults who have not acquired a high school diploma. These are:

  • Adult Basic Education (ABE) provides instruction in basic reading, general language development, mathematics and life-coping skills to adults who have not completed high school.
  • English as a Second Language (ESL) classes provide instruction in English speaking, reading and writing to adults whose primary language is not English.
  • General Education Development (GED) classes prepare adults who have not completed high school to take the GED (high school equivalency) exam. This class is offered in English and Spanish.
  • Job Readiness training provides adult instruction in job search processes.
