Anthropology in Peru:
The Incas and their Ancestors

Discover the secrets of fascinating ruins throughout Peru’s Andes Mountains, including the world-famous Machu Picchu archaeological site. Enjoy average January temperatures in the 70s as you tour the cities of Lima, Trujillo and Cusco, visiting markets and historical sites.

Study with Dr. Scott Palumbo and Laura Brodie (adjunct). Dr. Palumbo, a CLC archaeology professor, is an experienced principal investigator on archaeological projects in Peru, Panama and Costa Rica.

  • ANT 224 – Introduction to Archaeology (3 credit hours)
  • ANT 299 – South American Archaeology (3 credit hours)

Cost:  $3,850*

*Trip cost subject to change due to unanticipated changes in currency exchange rate, airline and accommodation variations.

Study abroad scholarships are available through the Center for International Education for eligible participants. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must have already applied and been accepted to the study abroad program.
