Peru Culinary Arts Program 2019

May 19 – June 1, 2019
and optional excursion to Machu Picchu: June 1 - 6, 2019


  • HCM 159 - Culinary Arts Study Abroad (3 credit hours)

Cost:  $5,500* ($4,000 for Lima portion + $1,500 for Cuzco portion)

*Trip cost subject to change due to unanticipated changes in currency exchange rate, airline and accommodation variations.

Cost Includes:

  • Round-trip airfare
  • Double-occupancy housing (additional cost for single occupancy)
  • Most meals
  • In-country transportation
  • Cultural excursions/activities (as arranged for this program)
  • Trip cancellation insurance

Cost Excludes:

  • College of Lake County tuition and fees
  • Passport fees
  • Incidental/personal expenses
  • Optional excursions
  • Additional meals
  • Travel medicine

Application deadline: January 25, 2019

Apply Online via the Education Abroad Portal

Withdrawal Information:  Your deposit and other fees are refundable if you withdraw from the program no later than February 1, 2019. Withdrawals must be made in writing and submitted to jcushing@clcillinois.edu.

Scholarship Information

Study abroad scholarships are available through the Center for International Education for eligible participants. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must have already applied and been accepted to the study abroad program.
