Students can access the Internet learning portal 24 hours a day and communicate with the instructor Monday-Friday. A visit to the Grayslake Campus on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5:15-6:15 p.m. is required for orientation. Students must take their final exam on campus. A textbook is also required and can be purchased through the CLC Bookstore.

Once you successfully pass both courses, you will be able to sit for the state licensing exam, offered by Applied Measurement Professionals (AMP). For more information on the licensing exam, please visit the Applied Measurement Professionals website. It is recommended that students take PRLE 2 before PRLE 3.

Prior to receiving an Illinois Real Estate license one must:

  • Have graduated from high school or obtained an equivalent degree
  • Have completed the required real estate education hours at an approved school
  • Pass a state license examination
