This workshop will cover three topics to help you prepare and be aware if a high-risk situation should occur. Taking a few steps now can help you react quickly when every second counts.

  • Situational Awareness – presented by Nicholas Greco IV, a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and a police and law enforcement training expert
  • Run, Hide, Fight – presented by Thomas K. Guenther, Chief of Police, College of Lake County
  • Critical First Aid – presented by Marco Mendoza, a veteran Navy Corpsman and Tactical Combat Casualty Care Instructor

This workshop is eligible for 3 CEs for licensed counselors and social workers or 3 PDs for teachers, counselors and social workers.

These are instructor-led online courses that provide training for teachers in a variety of academic areas important to educators.
