Navigation for Accounting:

Students in a classroom.

The Accounting program at CLC offers students two types of degrees and two certificates depending on their long-term goals.

The Associate in Arts degree (Plan 13AB) in Accounting provides the first two years of a four-year business degree with a concentration in Accounting. Typically, students at CLC complete this degree and transfer to a four-year school to complete their bachelor's degree.

The Associate in Applied Science degree (Plan 22AA) in Accounting offers students the opportunity to gain enough skills and knowledge to find a job in the accounting field upon graduation.

The Accounting Clerk certificate (Plan 22AI) and the Professional Accounting certificate (Plan 22AB) provide opportunities for interested students to gain skills in a short time and also allows those already working in accounting to upgrade their skills.

The Professional Accounting certificate is designed for those with a bachelor's degree who want to complete the requirements to sit for the CPA.
