Program Options

The Accounting program at CLC offers students two types of degrees and two certificates. Which you should choose will depend on your goals.

Associate Transfer Degree

Accounting A.A. (Plan 13AB)

The Associate in Arts degree in Accounting provides the first two years of a four-year business degree with a concentration in Accounting. Typically, students at CLC complete this degree and transfer to a four-year school to complete their bachelor’s degree.

Associate in Applied Science and Career Certificates

Accounting A.A.S. (Plan 22AA)

The Associate in Applied Science degree in Accounting allows you to gain enough skills and knowledge to find a job in the accounting field upon graduation.

Certificates

The Accounting Clerk certificate (Plan 22AI) and the Professional Accounting certificate (Plan 22AB) provide opportunities for interested students to gain skills in a short time and also allows those already working in accounting to upgrade their skills.

The Professional Accounting certificate is designed for those with a bachelor’s degree who want to complete the CPA Requirements.
