About the Program

The Architectural Technology program prepares students for a career in architecture and design practices. Our classes help students to develop an understanding of the history and fundamental principles of architectural design. Through this degree program you will be challenged to create effective and conceptually inspiring designs evolving your understanding of architecture.

The program prepares graduates to assume a variety of duties in the architectural profession including:

  • Create construction working drawings
  • Design development drawings and renderings
  • Estimate costs
  • Write specifications
  • Structural design and detailing
  • Construction supervision
  • Sales of materials and equipment
  • Facilities engineering
  • Building inspection

Employment After Graduation
