What does an Oracle database administrator do?

With the Internet and e-commerce generating large volumes of data, there is a growing need to be able to store, manage and extract data effectively. Work with Oracle, a popular software, as you determine ways to organize and store data using a relational database. Migrate data from outdated systems into a new system. Troubleshoot problems and add new users to the system. Manage the database security—a critical feature as the volume of sensitive data continues to grow and as computer networks become increasingly interconnected.
