Curriculum Information
This certificate program prepares students to achieve entry level competencies as massage therapists in sports clinics, salons, spas, hospitals, private practice, nursing homes, hospices, wellness centers, and other health care and recreational settings.
Students take ten courses in two semesters of class work and prepare for the National Certification Examination in Therapeutic Massage; success on this exam is prerequisite for state licensure.
Students are registered for the first five courses only by consent the Massage Therapy Program Coordinator.

| Massage students must offer proof of CPR certification by completion of the massage program. Students may wish to enroll in PALH 8 at CLC which is offered frequently each semester. The $45 cost of this CLC course is additional to the cost of the massage program. | |
