About the Program

Computer Science is a transfer program housed in the Engineering, Math and Physical Science division. Transfer programs are for students who plan to continue their education at a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree. Some students take Computer Science as part of the Associate in Engineering Science degree requirements, others take Computer Science courses as part of a plan to major in Computer Science as part of an Associate in Science degree plan.

Careers

Computer scientists conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as theorists, designers or inventors. They solve or develop solutions to problems in developing computer hardware and software. Average annual salaries range from $53,000-$138,400 and job prospects are predicted to grow faster than average.
