Applied Music Information

CLC students may register for private, one-on-one applied music lessons with professional performers/teachers.

Applied Music Lessons

Applied music lessons are available in two levels, denoted as Level I and Level II. Level I lessons are for students new to the college and those students classified as performing at an beginning or intermediate level. As you progress in your performance abilities, your teacher will allow you to register for Level II lessons, which are designated for advanced performers.

Half-Hour Weekly Lesson

Students who wish to minor in music or pursue music for personal development may register for section 001. Section 001 will provide for sixteen, half-hour lessons over the course of a semester. Students registering for section 001 will earn one credit per semester. View course fee information (PDF).

Full Hour Weekly Lesson

Students who wish to major in music or pursue music more intensely for personal development should register for section 002. Section 002 will provide for sixteen, hour long lessons over the course of a semester. Students registering for section 002 will earn two credits per semester. View course fee information (PDF).
