Certified Nurse Assisting (CNA)

Certified nursing assistants provide direct patient care; transfer and transport patients, equipment and specimens; take temperature, pulse and blood pressure; and perform other procedures as directed by a nurse.

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Registered nurses observe, assess, evaluate and document symptoms, reactions and progress and make patient-care decisions; assist physicians during treatments and examinations; and administer medications and treatments.

NLN Pre-Exam (PAX)

All students who wish to be screened for NUR 132 and NUR 133 (Registered Nursing) are required to take the NLN Pre-Nursing Exam. The official results must be on file in the CLC office of Admissions and Records.

The registration deadline for the NLN Exam will be two weeks prior to the test date.
