POPS Student Club

The paralegal studies program offers dynamic opportunities for socializing, networking and career enhancement through their student club, the POPS (Pupils of Paralegal Studies).

This club hosts several guest speakers, social networking receptions and workshops each semester that provide great opportunities for students to really bond and make life long connections with their classmates, instructors, local attorneys and judges.

Local Bar Association

All of the PLS instructors are local attorneys who bring "real life" into the classroom every day and are a great resource for our students. As a result of our close relationship with the local bar association, CLC paralegal students are eligible to join the Lake County Bar Association at minimal cost and participate in all the terrific programs offered there.

Typical Paralegal Student

More than 70% of CLC's paralegal students enroll part time; they are adult learners, attending classes in the evening while managing jobs, family obligations or other obligations during the day. Most have had some college experience prior to enrolling at CLC, and many have higher education degrees.
