Provides students with a foundation of knowledge and skills in the front office of a medical or dental office. Introduces health records, insurance processing procedures, and basic CPT and ICD-CM Coding. Some topics include: scheduling appointments, telephone techniques, bookkeeping and banking, completing health insurance forms, and assigning insurance codes. Student must be basic keyboard proficient. Prerequisite: Language Proficiency and Basic Algebra Readiness Schedule: MOA 112 is offered in the Fall 2009 term. | ||
