This course provides an understanding of advertising within the integrated marketing communications of the firm. Principles and practical applications of promotional research, consumer behavior, media identification and selection, creative strategy, copyrighting, layout, budgeting and legal aspects of advertising and promotion will be covered. Students will develop an advertising campaign for a single product, service or small business.
Prerequisite: BUS 121
