Challenge Us–To Help You Close the Skills Gap

Every day you face the challenge of finding the right workers. Now, it's your turn to challenge us. As a leading provider of workforce training, the College of Lake County can help you find or train skilled workers. We can:

  • • Provide you with a well-qualified pool of job candidates – the students and graduates of our technician preparation programs.
  • • Train your existing workers through our seven academic programs in technology fields or through customized training developed by our Workforce and Professional Development Institute.
  • • Explore creating a new degree or certificate program if need is great enough.

Our Skills Pool

We offer seven major manufacturing-related technician programs. Each has been developed with feedback from employers to ensure the programs match workforce needs.
