How can parents encourage students to visit use our services?

Many students may be hesitant to visit the Career and Job Placement Center, because they think they need to have some type of plan or direction before they talk with a Career Specialist. A low‐risk way for students to get involved is to visit during walk‐in hours. They can talk to a Workforce Associate, register on LancerJobLink, get advice on resumes or set up an appointment to speak with a Career Specialist.
