Begin your path to a bachelor’s degree at the College of Lake County. CLC offers the same general education core courses that comprise the first two years of a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college or university.

Though CLC’s credits generally transfer easily, college and universities have different requirements for transfer students, and you should plan your transfer to make the process as smooth as possible.

Transfer Partnerships

CLC has established special transfer partnerships to assist students with seamless transfer to bachelor degree programs including guaranteed admission agreements with partner colleges and universities, articulation agreements for specific majors and programs, and bachelor degree completion programs through the University Center of Lake County.

Transfer Services and Resources

CLC counselors are available to assist you in identifying transfer options, determining the required courses and in planning your semester-by-semester course work to fulfill your transfer school’s requirements. In addition, we offer many transfer guides, transfer resources and transfer events to assist you.

Counselor Liaisons

Although any counselor is able to assist you with transfer, specific counselors have been identified as liaisons to specific schools in Illinois and to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

When to Meet with a Counselor

The best times for scheduling transfer planning appointments with a counselor are during the following months:
