Request CLC Transcript

Notice: On April 3, the Student Records Office began using Credentials Inc. for official transcript services. This enhancement expedites our official transcript ordering and fulfillment processes but does not sacrifice the level of service you expect. There is a $10 fee per CLC official transcript. Electronic official transcripts will be sent within one business day, and hard copy official transcripts will be mailed within one or two business days.

Unofficial Transcripts

An unofficial transcript is a record of your academic career that includes courses taken, grades and degrees and certificates earned. It is available anytime through your myStudentCenter account. There is no charge for unofficial transcripts. You should review and use unofficial transcripts as often as needed. What's the difference between an official and unofficial transcript?

How to Obtain an Unofficial Transcript

To view your unofficial transcript, go to the myCLC Portal and enter your login; then select “Student Center” from the left-hand menu, which takes you to the student registration system. Click the link for myStudentCenter. Once you have accessed myStudentCenter, use the drop-down box on the left that says “other academic…” and select “Transcript: View Unofficial.”

Official Transcripts

An official transcript is similar to an unofficial transcript. However, official transcripts are certified by the Office of Registrar and Records. Official transcripts can be hard copies in a sealed and stamped envelope, or in PDF format delivered electronically via a secure transcript system. Once the sealed envelope or PDF is opened, the transcript is no longer considered official.

Official transcripts should only be used when unofficial transcripts will not suffice. Official transcripts are usually only needed at the final step of transferring credits to another college or university, or after you accept a new job.
