Aug. 2: Quick-Start fall registration event planned for all three campuses

The College of Lake County has created a one-stop event as a convenient way to register for fall classes. The college will host a Quick-Start registration day to help students build their futures on Thursday, Aug. 2 from 4-7 p.m. at the Grayslake, Waukegan and Vernon Hills Campuses.

Besides applying for admission and registering for classes, participants can speak directly with advisors and counselors on-site at Quick-Start. Representatives also will discuss financial aid as well as job and internship opportunities.Photo of Melicia Eder helping prospective CLC students

“Whether you’re a recent high school graduate or a working adult looking to upgrade skills or find a new career, CLC is here for students from all walks of life,” said Jason Sarna, director of Admissions and Recruitment. “The college offers dozens of degree and certificate career options, so there’s something for everyone. Plus, our guaranteed transfer agreements with 25 four-year institutions ensure a seamless transfer process. CLC has many advantages, such as our smaller class sizes, quality of courses and caring faculty.”

Unable to attend the Quick Start event? Stop into CLC’s Welcome and One Stop Center at the Grayslake Campus, the Student Services Center at the Waukegan Campus or the Campus and Student Support Center at the Southlake Campus. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
