Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move easily. You need only attend Monday or Tuesday auditions, not both. Please bring an acting resume if you have one and also a photo (candid one is acceptable). Callbacks take place Thursday, Sept. 20 from 6:30-10 p.m.

Rehearsals begin the week of Oct. 1 and are held Monday through Thursday evenings, with a possible, occasional weekend rehearsal depending on availability of actors and necessity. You must be available for all rehearsals from Oct. 1 through the performances. Showtimes are: Friday, Nov. 9 and Saturday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m.; and Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15-17 at 7:30 p.m. Please make sure you have the times free before auditioning.

A groundbreaking masterwork by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen, “A Doll’s House” is the story of Nora Helmer, a young wife and mother married to Torvald, a recently promoted bank manager. The pair seem to have an idyllic life until a terrible secret from Nora’s past threatens to shatter her world and she begins to question everything. When it first premiered, “A Doll’s House” sent shockwaves throughout Europe and, 150 years later, it continues to be as bold, brilliant and alive as ever.

The show is being directed by Alicia Hall and Craig Rich. For audition information, contact Hall at or Rich at To stay current on CLC Theatre, visit the department’s Facebook page.
