CLC’s 38th ‘Recent Works’ exhibit runs Oct. 5 to Nov. 4

View a variety of award-winning work created by local artists at the College of Lake County’s 38th Annual Recent Works Juried Competition, on display from Oct. 5 to Nov. 4 at the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art.

Approximately $2,000 in cash prizes and purchase awards will be given to artists selected for the exhibit. An opening reception, including award announcements, will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5 in the gallery, with refreshments and live music by Doug Anderson & Gary Nordmark.

The Gallery of Art is located in the Library at the Grayslake Campus, 19351 W. Photo of art exhibit titled HairbrushWashington St. Please park in Lot 1 on the north side of campus and enter through the Technology Building entrance (T1). Gallery hours: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; closed Sundays. Hours vary during college breaks and between semesters. For information on the exhibit, call (847) 543-2040.
