Engineering students throughout Lake County and beyond are invited to the Third Annual Lake County Engineering Internship Job Fair, sponsored by Lake County Partners, the College of Lake County and Lake County Workforce Development. The event takes place from 1-3:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 and is intended for engineering students from all disciplines, with an emphasis on manufacturing and design.
“We expect about 50 employers from Lake County to attend,” said Gina Smith, Business and Industry Coordinator for CLC’s Career and Job Placement Center. “This is a great opportunity to meet with leading companies, interview with top hiring managers and secure your summer internship for 2019.”
College students in their freshmen through senior years and from any discipline are welcome, as are students from any community college or four-year engineering school or university. Students can interview with leading innovators in med-tech, automation, bio-pharma, precision manufacturing and other fields. Top employers with real projects will be ready to hire industrial, mechanical, biomedical engineers and more. To register and learn more, visit https://tinyurl.com/ybdte7uj.
The fair will be held at the CLC Grayslake Campus on the Student Street, just inside the main entrance. For more information, contact Smith at (847) 543-2059 or Rsmith10@clcillinois.edu. Employers that would like to hire engineering students can participate in the fair by registering online.
Spring Semester classes begin Jan. 22, and registration is now open. View course offerings, both classroom-based and online, and learn how to become a CLC student at www.clcillinois.edu/spring.
